User's comments:

Awesome work on the video recorder. It works really well and its great to see someone put our a smooth video recording app.

I am most impressed with this app. I can finally record and playback video with sound on my wonderful iphone. Thank you so very much dreamcatcher for putting a great video recorder out for the iphone community.

I just gave this a go, and I have to say I'm impressed.
Used the default settings on the latest version and the framerate was right on the money, very very smooth.

I have to say I am pretty impressed and this came out of no where which I am really happy to see 30 seconds for free is great and if you really want the extra time then just pay the $20 other wise enjoy the 30 seconds thats more then enough for normal use.

My record quality is pretty good given the 2MP camera. I have posted a bunch of videos to YouTube and I think they look great especially since the brightness fix.

Cool! I'm indeed one of those who found it ludicrous that Apple did not include recording features on the iPhone. At $19.95, I think it's a small price to pay considering I almost NEED this feature (for my own purposes).

The latest installer release of iphonevideorecoder is working very nicely with all of my other apps. Even vwallpaper, which is mainly the reason why I made the donation to dreamcatcher. They appear to be on the ball with producing and maintain a very good app. I'm still having some issues with it not encoding after hitting the stop button, but I can hit the home button and return to the app, hit the video and finish encoding. THe landscape and the portrait version each seem to work very well. I think it's $20 well spent if it does what I want without screwing up my phone. Not to mention its the only video recorder with sound the exports through email thats out right now. So I have to tip my hat to them and say thanks for making the iphone a little bit closer to perfect.

with the settings on fully high with a nice sunny day outside, the app is amazing.
much thanks to the devs =] keep up the great work

So far this is definitly the best video recorder so far. I encourage you to continue to develop it.

Thanks for the 30 seconds to record. It's good enough for me. Im just happy to have the phone and be a part of this experience.

I think this app is fab I have purchased it to... I know could have waited, but with us being out and about because of the glorious weather today its just what I needed... quality good to... made my phone complete I'm well chuffed with it..

1.1.8 is outstanding great work would buy if 10 bucks for sure!

the app is great so far for me. I'm glad to be able to record video at all on my phone, especially with audio. I can at least leave my digital camera at home now sometimes

Hopefully you tried this video recorder. Two thumbs up. I love it. Thank god for this. Waited just a couple hours but if I wanted that long I wouldve went nuts.

...this is definitely a great app worth supporting and has a place on my first homescreen page

Aweesommeee app guyz... This almost completes all my needs on the iPhone...

Thanks for the great video recorder.
Was I mistaken, I didnt realize there were limitations on the free version other than the 30sec limit?
oh well forget about it. I was concerned with purchasing the app and the new firmware just around the corner.......but with the development of vwallpaper I just had to have it so I just made a $20 donation for the continued used of video recording.
I do hope that this app will continue to be supported thru the release of future firmware.
Thanks again for allowing me to capture those special moments.

Nice job on 1.6 just updated. Glad to see you guys moving quickly to add features and repair bugs. Great work!
